Our Roots

The Snake River, Green River, and nearby waters offer world-class fishing in a stunning natural setting, making it an easy choice to call this place home. We’re excited to share the unforgettable fishing experiences and breathtaking scenery of Teton Valley with you, whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-timer.

Catching a trout on a drift boat with Teton South Fish and Float

Fishing in the Teton Valley is one of the most majestic experiences you’ll find. Sharing this adventure with a group can be even more enjoyable for several reasons, especially when it comes to creating shared experiences and fostering camaraderie. Fishing successes—like landing a big catch—are even more thrilling when celebrated with others. Every catch becomes a collective victory, with everyone joining in the excitement. These 18 foot fiberglass drift boats are a spacious and comfortable, allowing more than just two anglers. Up to 5 people may float on one vessel with a guide rowing. Families and friends have the opportunity to fish together on the same boat, instead of being split into separate boats.

Whether it’s just you and a buddy, a couples’ retreat, a seasoned angler, you and your kid, or a novice ready to cast your first line—we can tailor the experience to suit you. Our traditional 15-foot drift boats offer a stealthy approach to fishing in the tighter sections of the river. One or two guests can drift fish from these fiberglass vessels, providing a more intimate and focused fishing experience.

The Snake River flows through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the United States. A scenic raft float on the Snake River offers several unique advantages: Thirteen miles of pristine river views, with the Teton Range and surrounding landscapes bathed in golden sunlight and framed by snowcapped peaks. The views are nothing short of spectacular. In Jackson Hole, you’ll be surrounded by the towering peaks of the Teton Range, including the majestic Grand Teton. The river winds through pristine forests and open meadows, providing opportunities to spot wildlife such as bald eagles, ospreys, hawks, otters, moose, elk, and even the occasional bear.

Staying dry on a scenic float is the perfect way to enjoy the views in comfort without worrying about water splashing over the sides. Passengers can relax and enjoy a comfortable, leisurely experience without the concern of getting soaked or dealing with wet clothes.

Groups of up to five can enjoy this scenic float from the comfort of an 18-foot fiberglass drift boat. Some call these the “Cadillac of river boats,” with each passenger enjoying the luxury of a raised leather seatback for maximum comfort.
